How it works
  • The operator places the sample into the test frame, enters the sample height and the data file name at the beginning of the test and the testing proceeds unattended
  • Preprogrammed computer controls, measures, and records all CTE data and shuts down upon test completion
  • Includes a 304 stainless steel calibration standard and calibration software for automated calculation of frame correction factor
  • Certified reference samples are available in 410 stainless steel and Titanium
  • Software follows the AASHTO T 336-11 testing protocol
